Résumé : | In the world of dementia publications, Alzheimer's disease has the major share of written material. There is a shortage of texts addressing other dementias, especially those that relate to cerebrovascular disease. As studies in this area slowly gain pace, it is timely to review the current state of knowledge of the relationship between cerebrovascular disease and dementia and to re-examine the concept, classification, epidemiology, pathology, behavioural neurology, neuropathology, neuropsychology of dementia related to cerebrovascular origin. |
